Learning aims: The children were set a task to find the most attractive way to persuade people that separate waste collection and recycling saves a lot of energy. They found out some interesting facts. For example: processing 1 ton plastic saves up to 2.2 tons oil and 2.360 kW/h electricity. Or that recycling one aluminum can saves as much electricity as it is necessary for a TV set to work for three hours.
Short description: three of the students: Kalina Natseva, Iva Lilova and Dina Ivanova wrote and performed a play about separate waste collection. Their characters are three dolls – the three containers, blue, yellow and green, which explain why it is important to collect waste separately and how much energy it saves. They first performed their play in front of the students from our school and the next performance will be in front of the representatives of local stakeholders.

Reflection: In an interesting and funny way students learn important facts about separate waste collection and saving energy. They are convinced that it is very important for the society and appeal to everybody, “Let’s save energy together!”
