A few pictures shall give you an impression of the City of Stralsund.
Stralsund is a famous representative of the "Brick Gothik". The City Hall (left) and the St. Maria Church are built in this style of architecture.
From tower of the St. Maria Church you have a nice view over the roofs of the city and the "Strelasund" - a coastal part of the Baltic Sea (left) and some silent places in the city (right).
You have to pass Stralsund, if you want to visit Ruegen, Germanys largest island. You can choose between two bridges (left): a new one (frontage) and a historical one (background). From Ruegen you have a nice view at the skyline of Stralsund (right).
