EGS Project

In France, the training of the staff school took place in the High school les Fontenelles in Louviers until 13 November to 14 December 2009. During this period, a lot of stakeholders trained the staff school to energy saving, energy efficiency, renewable energies or environmental communication.

At least, they deal with nine different topics:

• Perspective issue of energy efficiency in sustainable development
• Problems of energy and environment
• Education for sustainable development
• Green economy
• How to promote energy efficiency in our school
• Renewable energy sources
• Innovation in energy efficiency
• Field workshop
• Teaching aids in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources

Each session was composed about 20 participants. A technical visit was organised in order to study a pilot site in Higher Normandy about renewable energy sources. Thanks to the great mobilization of the staff school, the training plan was successful. The training plan was evaluated and considered as good organized. The participants think that their participation in the training will help them to be more efficient in their work. To the training plan (314 kB)
