Energy state of the art in European schools PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 30 July 2009 21:26

Are European schools aware or conscious of their practices in energy usage i.e. energy efficiency? Is this visible in their activities? How much energy do schools consume? Which habits do they practise daily to reduce their energy consumption, and (how) do they involve the local authorities? Is energy education a part of the curricula? And do teachers think, that they are trained enough to provide lessons on energy-usage?

These are some questions, which were investigated by the EGS project.

34 schools from 8 European Countries were involved in the investigation.

The EGS community invites European teachers and students to read the state of the art report...

...and to benchmark their own school with the questionnaire
