Climate Detectives at School - new pamphlet from the German partner UBN PDF Print E-mail

Climate change and interrelated subject areas such as the energy sector or the global carbon cycle are covered in different school subjects today. This is not sufficient for climate detectives: they want to be active because they have understood that the climate change affects their future.

What is closer to home than making sure, first of all, that one’s own school is“climate friendly”?!

However, where should you begin? With the school photocopier that is switched on all day long? With the windows in the corridor that are tilted open in winter? Or would it be better to start with the daily journey to school for the pupils and teachers?

First Local Forum "Trasimeno Medio-Tevere" - December 2, 2009 PDF Print E-mail

EGS italian partner "Mountain Community Trasimeno-Medio Tevere", many local stakeholders and 3 school that signed the Manifesto worked together during the first local forum at secondary school I.P.S.I.A. "Cavour-Marconi" (Perugia). The forum were succefully divided into three thematic areas:  Energy efficiency of public buildings, Energy innovation and Energy saving. The forum ended with discussion of results and a programme draft for next meetings.

 
Second Local Forum in Romania PDF Print E-mail

Western University "Vasile Goldis" Arad together with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Arad and Economic College Arad organized on November, 26th 2009 at Expo Arad International the Second Local Forum on Energy. The forum was attended by students, teachers, parents, members of school board, local authorities, Electricians` Association, Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Environmental Agency, SME`s.

The First Local Forum in Arad, Romania PDF Print E-mail

The Romanian partners organized the First Local Forum “Energy and Education” on September, 24th 2009 at Western University “Vasile Goldis” of Arad, Romania. At this Forum participated students, teachers, members of school board, local authorities, Electricians` Association, Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Environmental Agency, SME`s, parents.
